“I consider diners the people’s restaurant,” says one of the owners, Mr. Petropouleas. “You can accommodate everyone, from the poor to the wealthy. Someone can come in wearing a tux and order Surf & Turf. You can also come in wearing shorts and order a hotdog or coffee and dessert.”
